Frequently Asked Questions

  • The studio is located off I-95 near the intersection of St. Johns Pkwy Road and Old County Road 210 in St. Johns County. The studio is behind a McDonald's, in an office park called Offices @ Johns Creek. If you're approaching from the north, you can reach the studio by traveling south on I-95 and taking the exit onto State Road 9B. Continue south for 2 miles, then proceed down St. Johns Pkwy Road and take a right turn onto Old County Rd 210. There, you can take a left onto Nature Walk Pkwy and spot the office park on your right.

  • First-time clients will fill out a health history form to establish any specific conditions needing to be addressed and your goals for the treatment. You will then lie on a massage table and drape yourself with the sheets provided to receive services to help you reach your goals. All questions are welcome at any time during the session and additional instruction are provided during consultation.

  • Try not to eat a large meal, avoid ingesting alcohol or drugs, and remove all jewelry, watches, and body piercings prior to your session. Also, make sure you drink plenty of water before and after your massage session.

  • You may choose to undress to your level of comfort. Many people prefer to keep their lower underwear on during a massage, however, you never have to undress to a degree that makes you uncomfortable. You will be given ample time to undress privately and lie down on the massage table, where you will cover yourself with sheets. Regardless of your level of disrobe, only the areas that are actively being worked on will be uncovered. The groin and breast tissue will be covered at all times.

  • If you have a fever, cold, flu or contagious disease, please avoid coming in to receive services. If you are too sick to go to work, you are likely too sick to get a massage and it is best to stay home and rest. The first trimester of pregnancy is generally considered a contraindication for massage, as are active chemotherapy or other intensive medical treatments. If you have a medical condition and are unsure if a massage would be appropriate, please speak with your primary care provider about receiving massage therapy services.

  • 15-20% of the regular cost of service is customary for tips.

  • You are encouraged to openly communicate your preferences and needs. Your session is your time. Please communicate if you feel any pain or discomfort during your session. If anything needs to be adjusted, such as the depth, pressure, temperature, music, or if I’m almost (but not quite) getting the right spot, please let me know. l strive to ensure your needs are met and I tailor these sessions to ensure your comfort.

  • The truth is it varies depending on your pain levels, lifestyle, and budget. Most of my clients leading an active lifestyle or are prone to sports-related injury receive services bi-weekly. Many prefer a monthly treatment to ward off aches and pains. Regular massage has compounding benefits and for this reason I recommend bi-weekly or monthly massage for maximum benefits.
